1. Overview
Cruizly is a cruise tracking app for iOS. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use Cruizly V1 and visit cruizly.io.
V1 summary: Cruizly does not require an account, does not process payments, does not show ads, and does not connect to live ship-tracking APIs. Cruise data you save in the app is stored locally on your device.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide in the app — ship name, dates, ports, notes, and related itinerary data you add or select from the in-app catalog. This stays on your device in V1.
Support form (this website) — if you contact us, we receive the name, email, subject, and message you submit. We use this only to respond to your request.
Automatically collected: V1 does not operate analytics, crash reporting, or advertising SDKs in the current beta build. Standard web server logs may be collected by our hosting provider (Vercel) for security and operations.
3. How we use information
- Display your cruises, countdowns, and itineraries in the app (on-device)
- Respond to support requests you send via email or the support form
We do not sell personal information.
4. Data storage and retention
App data: stored on your device until you delete a cruise or remove the app. Support messages: retained only as long as needed to handle your request.
5. Sharing
V1: we do not share your saved cruise data with third parties. We may disclose information if required by law.
6. Children's privacy
Cruizly is not directed at children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information.
7. Simulated data
Cruizly V1 uses curated and simulated sailing, weather, and tracking data for testing. See About & Data Disclosure.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date and, where required, providing in-app notice.
